Review the effective preferences
- Open Notifications preferences and confirm the active organization. In-app Inbox is the baseline review channel; email is the switchable delivery channel.
- Check the email switch and its save result. Switching email off stops email that has not already gone out; it does not undo mail already delivered.
- In Policy Builder, name the policy, choose the appropriate scope and email cadence: right away, daily digest or weekly digest. Weekly email digests are labeled for Mondays. Reopen the saved policy to confirm the values.
- Set both quiet start and quiet end to save a valid window; one missing time or equal times does not define the window. Check the digest time zone and the displayed saved quiet-hour panel.
- Return to the Inbox and delivery history to review what actually happened.
Current limits
The source applies quiet hours every day in the digest time zone. Noncritical notifications wait until the window ends; daily and weekly items still follow their digest. A saved policy does not prove provider delivery or a guaranteed arrival time. Unsupported channels remain unavailable regardless of a legacy saved preference.
