Pin findings and compare versions

Pin exact passages only after findings load, and compare distinct ingested copies with the same title.

Keep a finding and inspect changes

  1. Open the document reader and wait for the findings panel to load. Select the passage you want to keep and use the pin control offered for that selection. Review the saved quote and its source document.
  2. If findings are unavailable, pinning is paused. Retry the read rather than assuming the panel is an empty findings list.
  3. To compare, open Compare versions. The source groups ingested documents by matching, trimmed, case-insensitive titles; a revised copy must have the same title to join that group.
  4. Choose distinct Older version and Newer version copies. Step through changes and verify important passages against the originals.
  5. If either document or version history fails to load, choose Retry version history and wait for both reads.

Current limits

One version, an untitled document or identical selected copies cannot provide a meaningful comparison. A shared title is a grouping rule, not proof of an official revision relationship. Source extraction and saved findings need review; a successful interface response does not establish legal accuracy or hosted acceptance.
