Record your organization's position

Create a draft stance, save it and follow the displayed review workflow for your organization.

Record a deliberate stance

  1. Check the selected organization before creating a position. In PolicySense Positions, choose New position, enter a title and select Our stance.
  2. Add the explanation your team needs and choose Create draft. Read the save status and reopen the record to confirm it persisted.
  3. Edit the draft and choose Save changes. Review the displayed workflow and version history before moving it through review or publication when your role allows that action.
  4. Link legislation and supporting documents only when the source records and saved findings are available. A failed supporting-document read requires retry; it is not proof that no supporting material exists.
  5. A LegiTrack bill's organization position is a separate bill-level record. Check it in bill detail before assuming a PolicySense position updated that record.

Current limits

An organization's position is its own decision, not a conclusion inferred from a bill's status or a generated summary. Role permissions, saved findings and workspace availability can limit editing and linking. No hosted approval or publish journey is established by this guide.
